What is your favorite part about law school and/or McGeorge? The combined community of students, professors, faculty, staff and the synergy and energy of people with common goals.
What are your hobbies outside of law school? I have a 14 year old daughter and a spouse who admits to being like my other teenager. They’re not exactly hobbies, but are an important part of my life. I like cycling and would like to be spending more time on the road with that. I plan to take up whitewater kayaking in my spare time. I’m interested in reading about foreign places, both fiction and non-fiction, and on my list of faraway places to visit sooner rather than later are South Africa and Costa Rica.
What was the most memorable moment from your first year of law school? Oh so many memorable moments. I’ll never forget my friend Eberle Anderson in Professor Levine’s George Bush head – and the comment that, sitting next to him, I looked like Barbara Bush. Noooooo!
Career goals:
Pass the CA Bar. Be a fantastic lobbyist, representing worthy clients before the CA Legislature and regulatory agencies.
Current job: Full time contract lobbyist and trade association manager for a mid-sized, decades-known firm in Sacramento. Livin’ the dream.
