Information for Students Selling Tickets to the Auction

The following information is for students who have been scheduled to sell tickets to the Auction in the student center:

**Credit Sales**

 

Please bring a laptop with you to tabling & bring up the above website. Students wishing to purchase tickets via credit card can enter their personal and credit card information into the computer available at the table or their own, and will receive an electronic receipt soon thereafter.

**Cash/Check Sales**

 

Volunteers will pick up and drop off the cash box, receipt booklets, manila envelope and poster from Rachel Palmer in the Office of Advancement. Her office is in the terra cotta building next to the lecture hall.

If there are two people scheduled for a day, the first person listed on the calendar for the timeslot is responsible for picking up and dropping off the materials. The student purchasing the ticket(s) will fill out his/her information on a form that will be collected by the volunteer and turned into Rachel Palmer, who will add the attendee’s name to the guest list after the forms are turned back into her.

It is important that the student’s guest’s name and e-mail address are legible!

Cash/check will be collected and a carbon receipt will be prepared by the volunteer, students will be given a copy of the receipt & the second copy will be attached to the completed form. Students can expect an electronic confirmation within the next day.

For attendance purposes, volunteers should initial next to their name on the tabling calendar, which will be attached to the manila envelope, for each day they volunteer.
