As we get settled into our class routines and our summer tans fade, the new MWC Board is busy planning an exciting new year! Let’s meet them:
Jackie Hang, President
Jackie is a 3L from Los Angeles and a die-hard Lakers fan at that! She graduated from UC Berkeley with her degree in Political Science and International Relations. This past summer she did defense work at a civil litigation firm in Sacramento. Jackie will be on the Moot Court team this year and work as a teaching assistant for GLS II and an assistant in the Alumni Relations Department.

Kathryne Baldwin, Vice-President
Kathryne is a 2L who enthusiastically joined the MWC as secretary her 1L year. She received her degree from CSU Sacramento in Philosophy with an English minor. This past summer she enjoyed Europe with the McGeorge Salzburg program.

Emily Reynolds, Treasurer
Emily is a 2L originally from Massachusetts. In addition to MWC, Emily is active in student organizations, Phi Alpha Delta (PAD) and National Lawyers’ Guild (NLG). In her free time, she is an amazing baker and her cookies will convert any vegan!

Easton Broome, Representative
Easton is a 2L from Monterey, California. Easton also spent his summer in Europe with the McGeorge Salzburg program. In addition to MWC, Easton is active in the student organization, Phi Alpha Delta (PAD) and LAMBA. He is also a teaching assistant for Torts under Professor Larry Levine. Easton loves to hike and hit up the Sacramento rock climbing gyms when he has a free afternoon.

Rebecca Caporale, Representative
Rebecca is a 3L from Fresno, California. She graduated from UC Davis with her degree in International Relations with a Spanish minor. She has been involved with the MWC Auction board for the past two years and helped recharter the National Lawyers Guild (NLG) chapter at McGeorge last year. This past summer she worked at the Community Legal Services Immigration Clinic providing pro bono legal services to Sacramento residents.

Kailey Gutierrez, Secretary
Kailey is a 1L from Manteca, California. She graduated from Pepperdine University with her degree in Public Communication and Public Speaking and a certificate in Alternative Dispute Resolution. She spent two years teaching in East Side San Jose with Teach for America while earning her MA degree in Educational Public Policy before beginning her McGeorge journey. She is very excited to get involved with WC.
