MULTIPLE CHOICE EXAM REVIEW PROCESS – BEGINS MONDAY, FEBRUARY 10th
McGeorge offers students an opportunity to review their completed multiple choice exam answers, often resulting in a better understanding of why their responses were incorrect and/or providing the insight students need to then discuss a specific question(s) with their professor. Now is your time to review your fall multiple choice exams, and the process is explained below. We have this process in place to protect the security of the questions so they may be used in the future if faculty desire.

Where: Main Faculty Support Office – FSO: (Faculty Building, behind Classrooms G & H)

Process:
1. On a FSO-provided post-it note, write across the top which exam you want to see, your section, and your 4-digit exam number, i.e., Torts – Levine, Evening, #1234.
2. You will be seated inside the FSO office with 1) your Scantron form, 2) the answer key, 3) the questions/exam, and 4) a post-it note and pen.
3. No backpack, additional pen/paper, other person, phone or electronic device, laptop, etc., will be allowed in the space with you.
4. Review your responses against the key and write down on the post-it only the number of the question(s) you wish to discuss with the professor.
5. When finished, give FSO Staff all exam materials and depart with your post-it note and belongings.

Complementary 90 Year Anniversary Poster
Students! In honor of our 90th anniversary year, the Pacific McGeorge Alumni Board visioned and created a poster highlighting the Pacific McGeorge experience. We want to make one available to you – free – as a way celebrate this exciting milestone.

The 90th Anniversary Commemorative Poster is available for pick-up in the CDO through the end of February! Think about getting your study group to all sign it – and you can look back years from now on those memories!

The Black Law Student Association would like to encourage everyone to attend our “Stop-and-Frisk” panel discussion. Our confirmed panelist are: Professor Emily Garcia Uhrig (McGeorge); Professor Gabriel J. Chin (King Hall); Professor Linda Carter (McGeorge); and Keith Staten Esq. (Criminal Defense Attorney). This panel discussion is aimed at bringing to light the human element of a very popular criminal procedure doctrine known as “Terry Stops.” It is a very hot topic right now in the legal field, especially in places like New York, Philadelphia and Chicago. In the summer of 2013, a district federal judge dealt directly with the issue of stop-and-frisk protocol implemented by the New York Police Department–which the case has stirred discourse on the topic on a national scale. It is the hope of BLSA that McGeorgians are aware of the topic and that we continually permeate this discourse in our respected circles.

Lastly, this event is sponsored by Themis. A representative of Themis will be making a presentation at the beginning of the event advertising and explaining their services and products. There will be food!
