Dean Francis J. Mootz III joined Pacific McGeorge on June 1, 2012 as the school’s ninth dean.

Previously, Dean Mootz served as Associate Dean for Faculty Development and Professor of Law at UNLV’s William S. Boyd School of Law since 2008. Prior to that, he taught for 18 years in appointments at Penn State Dickinson School of Law, William & Mary Law School, and Western New England University School of Law. Dean Mootz has written and presented regularly on the topics of insurance law, contracts, sales law, and his interdisciplinary scholarship explores the relationship between law and philosophy.
