Description

Dan Richard has been involved in key public policy issues for more than three decades. He is currently the Chairperson of the California High Speed Rail Authority. As president of B.A.R.T’s Board of Directors, he led efforts to secure $4 billion in capital for several projects, including the transit system’s expansion to the San Francisco Airport. Richard also served as a senior vice president for PG&E from 1997 to 2006.

As a part of the reinvigoration of the Pacific McGeorge Capital Center for Public Law and Policy, Pacific McGeorge is launching the Capital Center Lecture Series. The Series will host four notable, keynote speakers each year and will take place downtown, near the state Capitol. The goal for the Series is to bring timely and thoughtful commentary to current state and federal issues relating to government and public law and policy.
