Take Off

Here are some photos from my flight. I flew out Memorial Day. This was the first flight where I wasn’t headed to Asia so I was surprised by how quickly I could check in my baggage.  Normally, it takes over an hour because families travel together and you’re guaranteed that the whole family has everyone checking in 2 baggages, even the kid in the stroller. Also, these baggages tend to be big boxes with addresses written on them in sharpies and clear tape wrapped around every inch of the box.

My friend Ashlee had the genius idea to lock my bags with a keychain ring.  TSA can open them easily and it keeps pickpockets from having easy access to the contents.

Just before take off.  We had to wait an hour on the tarmac.

I took that time to see what British Airways gave me.  My complimentary headphones, toothbrush, and blanket came with guilt.  Just kidding. It was some ad that wanted me to donate money to something. The Sky Mall catalog called me  to it just as I was about to read how I could change lives one child at a time…

Somewhere over the Atlantic or I remember it, when Katniss and Peeta entered the arena of the 74th Hunger Games. (Great book)
