Mid-Term Multiple Review Sessions

McGeorge offers students the opportunity to review their completed Mid-Term multiple choice (MC) exam answers after grades have been distributed, often resulting in a better understanding of why specific responses were incorrect.   This review process is voluntary.  The below review sessions have been scheduled for the next two weeks:

* Wednesday, November 12:  Torts/Evening/Levine:  8:30 – 9:30 pm – Classroom H – During Assessment Period – Janice to man this session.

* Thursday, November 13:  Torts/Day/Davies & Levine:  9:15 – 10:15 am – Classroom H – During Assessment Period – Two FSO to be assigned.

* Thursday, November 20:  Criminal Law/Section B/Vitiello:  9:15 – 10:15 am – Classroom G – During Assessment Period – FSO person to be assigned.

* Thursday, November 20:  Business Associations/Yelpaala:  8:30 – 9:30 am – Classroom H – During Assessment Period – FSO person to be assigned.

The Faculty Support Office (FSO) staff will be proctoring these review sessions, so you must 1) check-in and receive materials [copy of the Key, your Scantron, copy of the MC Questions, post-it note, & pencil]; 2) leave backpacks/phones in the podium well or against class wall; 3) space yourselves in every other seat, space allowing; 4) not speak to anyone other than the proctor; and 5) return all materials to the proctor as in a “controlled” exam.   To recap MC review procedures, you may only write the number of any question(s) you wish to further discuss with your professor – you may not write down the correct answers, your answers, or otherwise indicate placement of correct answers on your post-it.   No reservation is required – space is available on a drop-in basis, but we will close as the times indicate.

We hope you take advantage of this opportunity to review your mid-term MC assessments in preparation for your fall final exams.

Notice Regarding Payment of Student Club Payments at the Business Office

There are a couple of important things you need to know before coming to the business office to pay your club dues, or any other club payments – these tips should save you time or the inconvenience of having to return to our office another time:

1.       Our system does not have the capability of accepting credit or debit card transactions; we are able to accept cash or checks in form of payment.

2.       You will need to know the amount your club charges for due as we do not have a list of charges in our office.

And, as always if you have questions we can help you answer please contact us by calling 916.739.7054 or by emailing the Business Office.

“The Whole Truth” Campaign

University of the Pacific, McGeorge School of Law has been working with 3fold Communications, a local marketing and communications firm, to develop a regional advertising campaign that launches November 4! “The Whole Truth” is the campaign name, and the first ads on digital highway signs and online display advertisements start this week.

The goal of The Whole truth campaign is to increase McGeorge’s visibility in the Sacramento Region among internal and external audiences. The campaign will highlight academic points of distinction and achievement and work to build positive regional perception and awareness. While many people in the region are familiar with McGeorge Law School, they are not aware of the McGeorge’s longevity, academic prominence and rich history of contribution to the Sacramento Region.
