Spring Cleaning Clothing Drive
Co-sponsored with Public Legal Services Society, and SBA Community Service Committee
Clean out your closet and donate clothing to WEAVE, My Sister’s House, and Opening Doors. Bins will be set up in the student center and students will be tabling on April 3rd, 5th, 10th, and 12th from 12-1p, and 5-6pm in the Student Center. The emphasis of this clothing drive is professional clothing, but we welcome any donations!

Miss Representation Movie Screening and Discussion; Co-sponsored with Lambda, and Entertainment Law Association
The film Miss Representation exposes how American youth are being sold the concept that women and girls’ value lies in their youth, beauty and sexuality. Join us for a screening of this film, a discussion about the film, and snacks!

Networking Mixer with women lawyers from Sacramento
Immediately prior to the Networking Mixer, the CDO will give a presentation about how to successfully network (5:00 p.m. to 5:30 p.m.).
Networking mixer where students will have the opportunity to mingle and talk with many female attorneys from the Sacramento area. Members of our very own McGeorge faculty will also attend. Wine and appetizers will be served!

Vagina Monologues
Students, professors and MWC members will be hosting a reading of the Vagina Monologues. The Vagina Monologues are part of the Global V-Day events, which seek to stop violence against women and increases awareness of existing anti-violence organizations. The Vagina Monologues consist of stories based on Eve Enslers interviews conducted with over 200 women from around the world.




Due to soggy grass and rain, today’s martial arts demonstration has been cancelled and hopefully will be rescheduled in the Fall!
