There are many opportunities to mingle with lawyers. Last year I decided to travel all the way to Florida to attend the 45th Annual Heckerling Institute on Estate Planning. It was an awesome event and an awesome experience. I met tons of CPAs, CFPs and of course lawyers. When I came back home from the week long event I had a stack of business cards three inches high (most likely a gross overestimation).
However, you don’t have to go to Florida to attend an awesome networking event. NOPE!!!
California Tax Bar is holding a conference in San Jose. I can tell just from reading the list of speakers that this is going to be a well attended event. Meaning, it is going to be a perfect place for those of you interested in tax to network with the attorneys in the field.
